Just a quickie to let you know that I shall be Nicky Wells’ guest on her blog ‘Romance That Rocks Your World’ on 1st May 2013. Links posted below , so if you are interested in reading some Rock ‘n’ Roll tales Nicky managed to get me to relate when she interviewed me, do drop in.

I am sure those of you who have read my interviews with Jenny Milchman on her blog, ‘Suspense Your Disbelief (Made it Moment),’ http://www.jennymilchman.com/blog/2013/02/13/made-it-moment-jane-risdon/
and with Joanna Lambert over on ‘Tea and Talk at Sally Lunn’s,’ jolambertwriter.wordpress.com will know what to expect – my chat with Nicky just adds to these.
I also wrote an article recently for Morgen Bailey about Song-writing, on her blog: http://morgenbailey.wordpress.com/guest-post-song-writing-by-short-story-author-jane-risdon
All this ties in nicely with Nicky’s interview.

In addition to some chit-chat about music I am also talking about my writing and inspiration for ‘Ms Birdsong Investigates’ and another work in progress (not including all those you have heard about before), which for the time being has the working title ‘GaGa in LaLa,’ and covers some of the experiences I’ve had working in the International Music Business.
Nicky Wells has been writing a trilogy of music romances featuring Dan and Sophie. In 2012 she published (with Sapphire Star Publishing), her first book from the Rock Star Romance Trilogy – ‘Sophie’s Turn,’ and in 2013 she published her second book, ‘Sophie’s Run.’ She is working on the last book in the trilogy (2013) called ‘Sophie’s Encore.’ Details of her books and much more can be found on her blog. I have a little vested interest in her work as you will find out during our interview.
Keep an eye out for the links on 1st May 201: Until then ‘Rock on.’

Thanks Margot. Nicky has been trying to get me to chat to her for ages as she writes about a Rock Star in her books and so I have been able to help her out with technical stuff and some idea of what life on the road is like. I hope you like it. 🙂

I hope so Margot, Nicky has been asking me to do this for ages. I also helped her with technical information for her Rock Star Romance Trilogy…two have have been published and a third is at the publishers now. She is fascinated with the Music Business….I am on solid ground there! Lol
