The Unseen Promise 10th May 2013: Chatting to Carol Bond
Today I am talking to Carol Bond over at The Unseen Promise and answering questions about some of my work.
I am chatting about Ms Birdsong Investigates, God’s Waiting Room and some of my other pieces of writing.

The Vale of the White Horse – Lavinia Birdsong’s new home
I do hope you will drop in, Carol has interviewed many writers over time and if you get bored with me you will find plenty of other interviews to keep you occupied.

Cob Web Cottage where Ms Birdsong lives in Ampney Parva – her dream home.
From her window in Ampney Parva Ms Birdsong can see White Horse Hill in the distance and she has spent many happy hours walking there. She loves the Iron age Fort and Dragon Hill where St. George apparently slayed the dragon.

If she wanders a bit Ms B. can walk into the Neolithic burial chamber, known as Wayland Smithy.

Wayland Smithy near White Horse Hill Uffington, Oxfordshire.
Such a change from her exciting and busy life in London where she had an apartment – not that she was ever in it much. Her life revolved around her work.
How different her life was to that of Serena Beaufort whose young life was mapped out for her by her family so that she could save their failing fortunes.

Willow Cottage (c) Jane Risdon 2010 – Features in The Secret of Willow Cottage
I have just written the (Flash fiction) story of Sebastian Nugent, the jilted lover of Serena Beaufort, due to popular demand (love that expression) and I am happy to be able to tell you that Sebastian’s story, ‘The Secret of Willow Cottage and the Tale of the Jilted Lover,’ will be published on Morgen Bailey’s Writing Blog on May 31st – links to follow nearer the date. This will also be Pod-Cast there on August 11th 7pm UK time.
So many people, including my own husband, were moved by the story and wanted to know more…..so I do hope you won’t be disappointed.

If you are yet to read the first part of this Flash Fiction story, please visit Morgen Bailey’s Flash Fiction Friday section on her writing blog and you will find it there.
