Madame Movara’s Charity Author Jane Risdon Talks About Her Tale Of Terror, Haunting Melody.

Not being a natural when it comes to writing horror or anything spooky, writing for Madame Movara’s Tales of Terror posed something of a challenge to me. I read and enjoy writing about crime, often murder most foul; I sometimes think I must have a criminal mind. When given this wonderful opportunity to write something in aid of Save the Children I really wanted to have a go and I had to dig deep in my imagination. I’ve written for charity before but have always been able to indulge my murderous side. This was something else.

My only experience of writing anything slightly spooky has been for two anthologies I am included in for my publisher. One story was for Halloween and the other for Christmas. For Halloween I came up with a Pirate story which has a bit of a parallel existence theme and for Christmas I delved deep…
