Chatting about inspiration and how life is a great resource and pool of information for authors
Today I am chatting to Mrs. Average Evaluates about what inspires my writing and where I get my ideas – not that I am a murderer or a spy you understand but I do fish around inside my head for memories, experiences, and things I’ve witnessed when thinking about something to write
We all lead lives that others sometimes call interesting or exciting, but we can rarely see it ourselves. I really do believe we all have a story to tell and we often need prodding to tell it.
We may well miss the obvious, forget things or think they are uninteresting and wonder who would be interested in reading about us, but I am sure someone somewhere would love to read another person’s life story or a fictionalised version of it. Why not try it?
Anyway, back to my blog chat about inspiration and experiences with Mrs. Average Evaluates, where you can read how I manage to fill a blank screen eventually, by trawling through my past or the past of those I knew or knew about.
If you are bored silly with lock-down and need a little diversion therapy do join me. and of course, you could always read a book. I have those too.

Let us know what you think. We’d love to know.

I am fine, thanks Jane. I am busy that before the lock down as I am working long hours at home and home schooling the boys. The house needs more attention too as everyone is home all the time. That keeps me busy and out of mischief. I hope you are also well?
