Signing my agreement with Linda Langton of Langtons International Literary Agency

In December 2019 I entered into discussions with an International Literary Agent interested in representing me internationally. I hadn’t even considered getting an agent, but having been approached and after doing my homework, I was prepared to give the idea consideration.

One year later, after lots of discussions, I am happy to announce that on December 10th, 2020 I signed an agreement with Langtons International Literary Agency based in New York, USA. I am now represented by their founder, Linda Langton.

After what has been a nightmare of a year for my family and many others around the world, this has given me hope for the future.

I am really looking forward to what 2021 will bring and to working with Linda and her team. I want to thank her for spending so much time on me and my writing during the last year and for her faith in me and my writing.

I also want to wish everyone a very Happy, Safe, and Healthy 2021. Things can only get better.

    • It is a surprise I know, been chatting to them for a year. Not looked for one, they found me. I thought I’d give it a go. Nice to find someone with faith in me. My publishers can only do so much. We shall see. It is another adventure. Happy 2021 and all the best for your books too. Hope the TV project is coming along well. xx

    • Thanks so much Beth, as you know I am already with a traditional publisher, but this is for my crime books. I am chuffed to bits. Been a year long chat about it all, as I’d not thought about an agent before. We shall see, I am not counting my chickens. Hope all is well with you and your family and that 2021 will be a wonderful year for you. Love J xx
