Shh… It’s Our Secret
Thank you for inviting me onto your blog today and for the amazing support of the launch of my latest book.
It’s my pleasure, Lizzie. Many congratulations and much success.

For those of you who are unfamiliar with Lizzie and her amazing back story, check this out:
International bestselling author and award-winning inventor, Lizzie Chantree, started her own business at the age of 18 and became one of Fair Play London and The Patent Office’s British Female Inventors of the Year in 2000.
She discovered her love of writing fiction when her children were little and now works as a business mentor and runs a popular networking hour on social media, where creatives can support to each other. She writes books full of friendship and laughter, that are about women with unusual and adventurous businesses, who are far stronger than they realise. She lives with her family on the coast in Essex.
Lizzie, that sounds awesome, I think perhaps you should come back another time and tell us about your inventions.
Please tell us more about your book you are launching today
Shh… It’s Our Secret

It’s Our Secret is a contemporary romance novel, telling the story of Violet, a shy woman with hidden talents that could change the fortunes of all those she cares about. After discovering that she has lost her home and job, she meets Kai, a jaded music producer, who is trying to step away from a gruelling workload that is affecting his health by moving to a quieter life, just outside a city. Their chance encounter changes everything for Violet and Kai and they realise why secrets should stay secret.

Lizzie, music producers and production has been as huge part of my life for decades, this sounds wonderful – tell us more…
Violet has a secret that could change the lives of everyone she knows and loves, especially the regulars at the run-down café bar where she works. After losing her parents at a young age, they are the closest thing she has to a family and she feels responsible for them.
Kai is a jaded music producer who has just moved outside of town. Seeking solitude from the stress of his job, he’s looking for seclusion. The only problem is he can’t seem to escape the band members and songwriters who keep showing up at his house.
When Kai wanders into the bar and Violet’s life, he accidently discovers her closely guarded secret. Can Kai help her rediscover her self-confidence or should some secrets remain undiscovered?
Wow, that is going to get everyone excited to know more. Good luck Lizzie.

Nylons were a pain, ladders at the most inconvenient times. Mini skirts made it impossible so tights were most welcome and didn’t seem to ladder as much. Nail varnish and soap were messy remedies. Lizzie’s invention sounds like a god-send.

Yes, I expect that Runaway Spray would be an improvement over the clear nail polish trick. Although I can’t I can’t remember the last time I had occasion to wear pantyhose!

when I didn’t need to wear a business suit and heels again, I abandoned all dresses, suits etc., in favour of trousers and thus it remains.

Thanks Annika! I invented a product called, Runaway Spray. It’s a lipstick size spray that prevents further ‘running’ or ladders’ in hosiery. It’s not tested on animals and is a handy product! x

Very handy indeed! I remember using nail varnish and this would then stick to the leg. Ouch! Great product invention!

Thank you! I agree, nail varnish was so messy! Luckily this one doesn’t stick to the leg or leave a mess. Lol:)
