Art in the Garden

I thought I’d share some photos with you. Every year I spend a lot of time taking photos of gardens, woods, villages, churches, cathedrals, and other places and items of interest.

A change from crime, murder, and mayhem for my post this week. I hope the respite does you well.

Walking in nature, and listening to the sounds of the grass, the wind in the trees, the birds, and other creatures during a walk inspires me. The smells of the earth, the leaves as they decay, the scents of the hedges, the flowers, and shrubs, assault my senses and I feel at peace and yet envigorated too.

I have taken to using my phone to take photos because lugging a large camera around has become a bit of a bore, so please take into consideration that these photos have been taken with my Samsung phone.

Here are some of my recent shots.

Where I’ve been able I’ve added details of the artist and the title of the work.

The pieces exhibited at Savill Garden are by members of the Surrey Sculpture Society.

I do hope you enjoy seeing them.
