I have many albums of photos (compiled in the days of film and developing) going back to my early teens, and sadly I have found that many have faded, especially Polaroid photos, which is sad. Fading memories. I […]

Ghostly Writes Anthology 2017 Coming soon from Plaisted Publishing with my short story As Cold As Ice A recently widowed new young mother accepts an invitation to move in with her late husband’s family. Their greeting is far from warm and they show little interest in their one and only grandchild, when the young mother arrives at the farm house in Jersey (Channel Islands) which is to become her home for the foreseeable future. Her bedroom opens on to a long corridor leading to the only bathroom on the floor her room occupies and getting to the bathroom proves a chilling experience for her… Based on a real farmhouse and events in Jersey but, of course, there is a lot of poetic license too… Coming soon.

Welcome to the second of my recent 'jollies.'
I am so happy my photos and posts about a few of my visits to some of our great houses, gardens, cathedrals, churches and other places of interest, are so well received.
Your comments are always welcome and much appreciated.
My last 'jolly,' to Waltham Abbey Church was very popular and I learned a great deal from those commenting and telling me about their own visits and what they'd learned of the history of the Abbey Church. Thanks so much everyone.
